ABOUT ME

In the Spring of 2012, I graduated from Ball State University, with Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. Electronic Art and Animation was my major. The area of animation I specialize in is CG Modeling / Digital Sculpting.

Currently, I am working on character designs to help myself have a better understanding of three-dimensional human forms. My current plan is to create a new character every two weeks. As my skills improve, I hope to get to a point where I can create a new character every week. My process for creating a new character requires me to: sketch a t-pose, draw a full body turnaround, draw head expressions and action poses of the character, then I'll sculpt the t-posed character within Zbrush, and once I've finish that sculpt I will create a low-poly version of the character so it could later be rigged and textured. Finally I pose, texture, and light the character inside ZBrush.  All of my new characters will be placed under the tab, CURRENT WORK.

I truly enjoy the process of creating new characters, both in 2d and 3d. Film is another passion of mine; there's nothing better than a good story told the right way. By doing this blog, I hope to improve my skills as a digital artist, so that I'm able to one day have a career working within the animated film industry.
